Sounds like a cool idea, except it is in San Francisco. Anyone going to
Linux World in August?

Hello,

The reason for me contacting your LUG is that we sent out e-mails regarding
about this year's Arkeia Power Award for the Best
Linux User Group in the nation. This prestigious award will be given away at
this year's LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San
Francisco on Aug. 28 thru Aug. 30th, 2001. The award winner will receive not
only the Arkeia Power Award Trophy, but also a
$1,000.00 prize. I'm pretty sure that your LUG would like to win the
$1,000.00 prize and take the award home?

We are hoping that Central Valley Area Linux Enthusiasts would register for
this event. If your LUG is interested in registering for the award, please
send a reply to this email. We will then send you the registration form and
all you have to do is to provide us with a summary of why you think that
Central Valley Area Linux Enthusiasts should win this award. We will then
debate during the trade show who should be nominated for the Arkeia Power
Award.

If your LUG is not nominated, we have a very special giveaway to provide
your LUG. We will provide you with "free" versions of the
Arkeia software. "This is not a demo", you will be able to backup 2 machines
to one server. We will provide you enough CD's to pass
out to your members. And to remind you again...this is free!

So, register you LUG today, what have you got to lose!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at anytime.
