I won't disagree with you.  But I don't think you have to understand
how TCP/IP packets are composed to learn how do set up some basic
networking.  For a KISS session especially, the more practial the
talk is the more valuable I think it will be.

I would be happy to schedule you for multiple sessions on this topic.
As for how you might split it up, I'm not sure.  Possibly focusing
on the configuration files for the first part and configuration and
troubleshooting commands for the second?

Feel free to send an email to CLUE-Talk and/or CLUE-Tech.  I understand
your concerns with this.  Perhaps you could suggest some multiple choice
topics and encouage people to reply with questions, even if they think
they are dumb questions.
