Well, thanks.  I just read that DSS and DSA are "the same".  So I tried
converting both, no luck.  I don't see anything in the debug output. 
That's what I get for not having the book.

Lynn, I don't really need to install OpenSSH, just playing around to see
how things work (for which different programs is better ;-)
