I finally asked about meeting space at ACC. Here's the answer. I know
one of the things we wanted was space for more people, but this is free
and has a projector. Perhaps we could try it and once we're familiar
with the layout ask for more if we need it.
What do you think?
Here's a snip from Jim's first reply, sounds like a supportive place:
> Great idea on using ACC facilities (Sante Fe Drive x C470 Main
> campus, yes?) for future CLUE meetings. ACC has meeting rooms/classrooms with
> (wonderful) overhead projection equipment in addition to Internet
> enabled workstations. Linux is in the CompTIA A+ Certification course

Hi Dave,
Good News!
Just spoke with Gary Troutman, Dept Head of CIS here at ACC. He gave a
thumbs-up to CLUE meeting at the usual time/date here at the main
Arapahoe Community College Campus on Sante Fe Drive.
I requested a 'Smart' classroom that can hold fifty. (SMART classrooms
have a PC w/Internet connections, an instructors station with PC/Net and
overhead computer projector for talks.)
