[CLUE-Admin] Potential Sponsor, or Spammer?

Well, isn't this a coincidence.

We have an admin meeting, at which we discuss publicizing CLUE a bit more,
and what shows up in my inbox the next day, but a company wanting to do a
link exchange. Now this wasn't just another UCE. The guy actually went to
the trouble of using the website contact form.

But wait! Their "user groups" link is for "Whizland User Groups".

Do you suppose they'd be willing to become a CLUE sponsor? If there were
an emoticon for "tongue in cheek", I'd put it here.

I daresay, a "link exchange" would be more valuable for them than us.

My inclination is to just ignore this. I'm quite hesitant to even quote
the message to the list, but if anyone wants to see it, I'll do so.

The business is http://www.whizlabs.com/ -- OK, here's a snippet from his
e-mail

I came across your site recently; it looks very impressive. The theme of
your website matches ours. I believe that our offerings would add great
value to the visitors of your site.

Can you say, "copy and paste"? I knew you could.
