And the bugzilla discussion is a low-heat flamewar. No noted resolution as
to whether logrotate is going to get fixed -- or even if it needs fixed.
At least I don't feel quote so dumb about not recognizing that the
logrotate problem occurred only after changing /tmp.

Guess I'll have to mod the main logrotate config file. I prefer that to
patching logrotate, at the moment. If it comes out that logrotate will
stay the way it is, then that means continual patching of each new
release, whereas modding the config file is easier to do, even if it means
having to re-add the environment line anytime it gets replace by an RPM
upgrade of logrotate.
