Might be worth polling the audience at the first couple of these to 
refine the list.

What about even getting Linux to run?  Some would find booting a live CD 
intimidating, much less installing a distro.  Perhaps scheduling and 
plugging installfests would fill this need.

Should we put together an outline of the nominal audience member?  That 
could be refined based on who actually comes and help presenters be 
relevant.
