[clue-admin] Postfix errors on my "ot comments on little survey mail"

Here are some errors I got while trying to look at things:

While trying to log in: ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed 
by remote host.  After a minute or two I got in.  Nothing in messages. 
about 20MB free (with and without buffers) but no proc using more than 
4%.  Besides hosts.deny problems Google says this is too many connections.

Seg fault while trying to vi the /var/log/mailman/error file.  The next 
attempt produced: vim: error while loading shared libraries: 
libcrypt.so.1: cannot map zero-fill pages: Cannot allocate memory.

Third try on the error log worked, showed two memory errors today. 
There's no entry (I think) for Collins's failed post in the post log.  I 
expect the memory error to be the cause of the failure.

So something seems wonky.  I don't see a kernel log and dmesg is empty. 
  I recently had a segfault on a plain jane should work app and it 
turned out to be bad memory.  Can we talk to our provider about the 
hardware?
