BYOB (Bring Your Own Box) - This is a "hands on" activity

 Dave is an experienced systems and database administrator who has built and maintained complex geo-technical databases for oil and gas exploration. Dave has an Oracle DBA certification and has successfully implemented applications for loading legacy data into relational databases and for delivering data in GUI formats on client/server and intranet platforms. Dave has installed MySQL and is now using it to manage databases on Solaris and Linux platforms. He will share with us some of knowledge and experience.
