Hi, Ben.

Your RH7 package manager knew about WP application [due to formal install
procedure]; however, KRUD didn't because of dump reload; therefore, suggest you
see if KRUD has some thing like dpkg (Debian Package Manager {dselect [U]pdate,
[S]elect, [I]nstall, [C]onfigure}) which can be used to inform package manager
of an application that now exists, but didn't go throw from install procedure.
Much like RPM's are transportable between distros, maybe dpkg is too - worth a
try.

You might take a look at /sbin/update [started from /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit on
most systems]. Disk buffers are maintained every few seconds; however, it is
possible, your dump didn't 'dump' system buffers and along with dumped
applications or RH7 and KRUD systems buffers didn't mesh. And, ultimately,
since it [system] didn't have them available, it couldn't restore them to
KRUD. Just a guess a guess.

Regardless, good luck.

Bill
