nothing is working very well right now.
There are two projects that I know of:
http://www.linuxvideo.org/
(the OMS project...open media system). I have been following their
player for like the last year or so. At times it has almost been
there, only to break again under a code re-write. ;(

These guys just came out in the last little while and they seem to
have pretty rapid devel, but I can't get things working on encrypted
dvd's, and the non encrypted ones seem to play fine for about 2minutes
and then blow up. ;(

yeah, also intervideo was supposed to have a commercial linux one out,
but it's been total vapor ware. ;(
