Well, I am not breaking my non-compete. It applies only to other consulting or contracting firms. Since it has been so long (linger than 30 days) the new employer has no contractual obligations. Even though there is not a leg to stand on, I hope they do not pursue it just to force me to pay lawyers. I don't think they will, but it could always happen.
