Yahoo is running a story about Elmo testifying before a congressional
committee. Yeah, Elmo as in the muppet from Sesame Street. I think
that this is pretty indicative of the mindset of our elected officials,
accepting testimony from a PUPPET. One puppet to another, I suppose...

While this is extremely cute, and quite the photo op, is it even 
legal to accept testimony from a fictional character? What's next,
are they going to have someone in a Spider-Man costume testifying
on crime bills?
