Sigh. And I just got first my Linux game from Loki (Kohan) last month.
I hope someone is able to pick up where they left off.

Yeah.

I'll be there. I'm speaking 3 times and running a BOF.
I'll be tired.

I thought I'd mention that I found copies of Unreal Tournament in the
bargain bin at Micro Center today for $8. Now, you may wonder why that
matters. You may think, "Big deal. UT is a Windows-only game. Why would I
want to encourage single-platform development in the industry?" Well, I
have great news, the UT for Linux binaries are a free download, like those
for Quake2! You can buy the Windows version for $8, and then play it on
Linux after downloading the binaries from
http://www.lokigames.com/products/ut.

Also, I have seen Quake2 just about everywhere for $10 or less. Linux
binaries are a free download from
ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/quake2/unix/

And lastly, Myth2 and Heretic2 for Linux are $5 each at Micro Center in
their Linux section.

A couple of us from HP are going. When we're not in meetings/talks we'll
probably be in the HP or Debian booths. Stop by and say hi if you're around.
