I mean, if he managed to get hold of source code from
M$ and tried to register it. By unpublished I meant the source
code wasn't publically available, not the executables. The
copyright office wouldn't turn over ownership of Windows to
someone just because they managed to get hold of the source
code and tried to claim it as their own.
