[CLUE-Talk] JPEG standard threatened by patent claim

Well, the bottom-feeders are at it again. Some Texas company, with the
help of one of those patent-leech law firms you may have heard of, is
proposing to hit everybody up for royalties on JPEGs. And ISO is saying
that if they patent claim holds up, they will withdraw the JPEG
standard.
