in which one contributer mentions the line as being in the prefs.js file.

I couldn't find the prefs.js file on my system, but the line was in 
all-ns.js. Maybe I've got a non-standard installation of 6.2.1?

Also, the consensus of opinion was that Mozilla was not prone to this 
problem, as apparently it was added by the Netscape folks.
