For some, the trick is to avoid arguments -- stay "under the radar," 
so to speak.  Just generate quality courses, lots of high scores on
the AP Computer Science exams, a Computer Animation and Graphics
course which would break any school if applications were Windows-based.
Build a following with parents and students, and don't do anything
to the school network that brings attention to the Linux computer lab.
