Here's another article about technology outsourcing:

I found it to be a very compelling article.  While the focus of this
thread has been programming, it points out that India's premier
outsourcing firm is targeting the consulting side as well.

The article doesn't offer any answers, it just poses the question:

"How will you compete with that?"

And, I tend to agree with the premise posed by such a question.  We
(Americans) must compete.  I don't think the answer is government
regulation, tariffs, etc.
