BTW, another thought.
You have to have good contacts. If I can suggest a way to develop these, help
your local school / library.
I currently help a small town school out on the plains. They were running all
MS and finding it expensive. I have helped them create a nice server that
uses squidguard for filtering. I have also suggested that they use the same
server for doing e-mail (postfix), IM (jabber), and fax serving (hylafax).
They are considering it. Apparently, they are realizing that IM is allready
going on, so by blocking all the others, but providing school IM (with
logging and parental IMing possible) is perhaps the interesting one.
We have been screwed in this state and we are now the 2'nd worse rated state
(only better than california) for budget problems. Schools will shortly get
the short end of the stick. By helping them, they can save money (trade-off
of MS software, childrens education, and local jobs; we only need by
concerned about 2 out of those 3) and you get noticed by local parents.
