You might check out Pair Networks (www.pair.com). They're not the 
cheapest, but their prices are reasonable, and I've found them 
extremely reliable. I've had my Web site hosted with them since 1999, 
bandwidth is always good, and to my knowledge there has been *zero* 
unscheduled downtime--and the only scheduled downtime was for a few 
hours when they were moving their data center.

On the downside, their tech support is fair at best--"benign neglect" 
might be a good way to describe it. But they have decent online help, 
and I've rarely had any issues requiring support. Also, they don't 
run Linux, but if FreeBSD is close enough for you, it might be worth 
checking out.
