For those who don't want to try Fedora, there's RH Professional 
Workstation, which includes one year of RHN updates.

However, according to this page, it's good for a year and the 
subscription cannot be renewed, so I assume that the user either buys 
another copy and starts over if they don't care to follow RH's 
suggestion and use RHEL.

How many more times can RH shoot itself in the foot --- as it stands now 
they must be using a high capacity magazine and be getting to reload.
