Hi Rex..while Dells and all those are good (I've owned two over the
years) my friend has purchased his newest from http://powernotebooks.com/

I was pricing theirs against the Dell XPS2 and I was going to save
somewhere on the order of $800 and end up with a much better notebook.
They even unofficially support Linux in their forums. Oh...and you also
don't have the pay the Microsoft tax.
