Not exactly an organization, but I know a guy, Mike Mikelson, who is
volunteering to set up some computer facilities for the hurricane
refugees at Lowry. He's doing some networking stuff this weekend, and
says he will be installing OpenOffice and will probably need help soon
teaching people how to use computers.
Just so you know what you're getting into: I have found Mike very hard
to work with in the past, and so have others, but if ever there was a
time to put aside those differences and work together, this is it. And
it looks like it's really a worthy cause this time. His e-mail is
<mjmikelson at yahoo.com>.
BTW, I think I will also be helping with the training program. In my
former life I was an ESL instructor, then a technical trainer for a
short while.
