This was just too good not to share.  Some Drupal folks are
considering doing training classes where they also create a website
for a non-profit.   They've been calling it a "barn raising" and this
guy just chimed in with:

"Geekend"    n.

1. A weekend spent alone in front of a computer or similarly engaging
creative tool.

2. A digital barn raising, bringing together enthusiastic individuals
to collectively create novel technologies, start digital brush fires
and have (geek) fun.

Sounds like the Hacking Society or LinuxFUNdamentals stuff - but the
name is a little funnier to me.

In Canada the idea of a digital barn raising (called a Geek-end ...
done over a Week-end) was used to launch the Marry An American
campaign (now offline).
