[clue-talk] Any linux package specialists out there?

I've had a good idea for a side business.  My company, Reliable 
Response, makes a package that runs on linux.  I don't have the time to 
test on every distribution and make all the different packages.  If 
someone out there offers a service to build and package software 
releases for the top 10 linux distributions, it would probably sell 
pretty well.

My package is Java  based, but it requires a database.  I ship a 
pre-compiled version of postgres, which fails on SuSE.  If I made it 
into an RPM, I could say "you have to have PG installed".  But, that 
means making one package for each distribution.  *ugh*  I'd rather just 
throw some money at the problem and let someone else deal with it.
