First, I agree.  I think it's a waste of tax-payer money for the government to do
anything with sports.  Sports organizations should be self-governing, spending their own
money, drawn from their own customers, for their own rules, infrastructure, and enforcement.

Second, though, isn't it ironic that Denver residents are bitching about government time
and money being wasted on sports.  Didn't we just "spend" x million dollars of our money
on something sports-related (stadium, I think)?
