You're probably right about this group. Personally I rate the choices
roughly in this order Conservatives (many of whom are Republicans),
Libertarians (much overlap with Conservatives), and way down the list
Socialists (most of whom are Democrats). As to 'would you vote for the
guy', see below.

In essence it has to be an L v R thing. Libertarians will simply not
win, and if they succeed in throwing the election to the Democrats,
nothing good that I want to see or that most Libertarians would want
to see will come of it. No, I can't vote for the Libertarian when my
vote might make a difference in the Conservative (mostly)  vs
Socialist (absolutely) race.
