It's a fact? Well, if we are going to trade emotionalist barbs aimed at
surpassing our neocortexes and going right to our reptile brains, I'd ask
why the "liberal media" hasn't asked McCain about his associations with a
terrorist. And a CONVICTED one at that, who also was still doing outrageous
things in the 90s. Unlike Ayers, who last did something when Obama was,
what, 8 or something?

That man is G Gordon Liddy.

Well, the columns thing was completely apropos of nothing. And it's hardly
"left-wing loonies" that have pointed out that she's incompetent,
inexperienced, ignorant, and frankly, stupid.

I'm no "left-wing loon[y]" - I consider myself independent although I'm
voting Democratic this election - but there is hardly a way in which someone
can look at her objectively and tell me she was a great choice for McCain -
except as a cynical bid to pull in religious right-wing moonbats who believe
in things like witchcraft and creationism...

A lot of the people on the right have felt compelled by their convictions to
say so, and have the economic freedom to do so. I've lost track of how many
Republicans have come out against her and McCain's stupid decision.

And frankly, I feel sorry for those who are on the Wingnut Welfare dole and
are therefore still compelled to carry water for her. That must be awful.

I remember some poor schmuck from WSJ on Maher's show who got cornered on
that. He might not be on the Wingnut Welfare, but boy, did I feel sorry for
that guy. Imagine if your boss is giving you marching orders to support a
complete doofus like Palin.

Disaster capitalism is the subtitle of Naomi Klein's book _The Shock
Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism_.
