Sigh, I'm almost afraid to post this, but...
Senator Obama was the highest-paid Senator *ever* in campaign donations
by Fannie Mae. This is just fact.
There was a strong monetary reason to leave Fannie and Freddie alone,
and it was campaign donations... with that, I'll shut up.
