Yipes, a Truly Awful Operating System!

The only OS worse than NOS: it's successor, NOS/VE.  NOS/VE was a huge step
backwards.  It's amazing that CDC stayed in business as long as it did.

Also, I'd imagine that even though NOS was certified to run in
mixed mode (mixed "Secret" and non-Secret jobs) it probably was eminently
hackable by today's standards. I bet it was riddled with buffer overflows,
integer overflows, etc, just like OpenVMS is:
