Yes, I can attest to that fact for 2+ years now.

The only reservation I have in recommending sidux to others is the
high maintenance requirement - high with respect to volume not effort.
sid throws out roughly 60-80 package updates per week, and you need to
ride this train at least monthly.

An aside. smxi is one of the best system maintenance tools ever
created. The smxi developer was a part of the original sidux team, but
the other idiot savants (idiots because of this action, savants
because of their knowledge of Debian code) kicked him out about a year
ago, and they go ballistic whenever smxi is mentioned.

If you can handle weekly or monthly dist-upgrades (X must be stopped),
sidux is a very good kde distro. Since the code is sid-based, you'll
seldom encounter a PC where it won't run out of the box.

And as a final though, Debian testing is pretty good, too.
