I run the same script, just not to Boulder.  The time servers respond in UTC.

# ./netdate -v tcp ntp2.cs.wisc.edu 
ntp2.cs.wisc.edu +9.371  Sat Oct 14 00:33:30.000 at 00:33:20.628 delay +0.339

# /sbin/clock -w 
Sat Oct 14 00:33:30 /etc/localtime 2000  

# clock
Sat Oct 14 00:33:45 2000  -0.774927 seconds 

I really want the time in Denver time, not UTC.  I know it's simple, I just
can't find out how to do it.
