So were you able to create the floppy from DOS or did you use your linux
machine? The commands are Debian commands and couldn't do with RedHat.

The linux router project has some neat stuff.
I used it for a router for wireless ethernet connectivity. Basically packet
routing & forwarding across multiple ethernet interfaces. If you want to
support an internal cable modem card that would take some device drivers;
other than that it should act like a normal ethernet interface.
