I don't quite follow what you are doing here:

I wonder, does /homecy/KDektop exist? there are a lot of typos in there

> cy at a24b161n139client142:~/KDesktop > copy filetest filetestnew
> Error: Try the command: cp -piv filetest filetestnew
there is no copy command, too many letters to type
> cy at a24b161n139client142:~/KDesktop > cp -piv filetest filetestnew
> `filetest' -> `filetestnew'
-piv isn't truly necessary, typing skills are.
