[CLUE-Tech] sendmail frustrations

Does your config file say that /etc/mail/access or /etc/mail/access.db
is a has file? If so, you will need to either do the makemap yourself
or, with newer sendmail versions, just to a make. This will generate
the hash db files sendmail actually uses for this function. It ignores
the text files.

All I've done for the last 5 years is this:

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart

I do that after I make the appropriate changes to:

    /etc/mail/access

Is sendmail using some other file now, or is my ip address
216.150.207.155 not being detected right by sendmail? I'm clueless on
this one, and totally confused as to why entering in my ip address like
I showed you doesn't work. But, like I said, this is the second time
this has happened to me, and I never did find a solution for the other
guy because I just thought he didn't know how to determine his ip
    address :)
