BTW - I had to run sndconfig to configure my non-PNP ISA soundblaster 16.  
Now CDs jammin'!  Apparently, the installation does not attempt to configure 
non-PNP ISA or PCI sound cards.  This makes sense because I have to tell 
sndconfig my I/O Base, IRQ, Low/High DMA, etc because it is not PNP.
