Welcome to the POSTGRESQL interactive sql monitor:
Please read the file COPYRIGHT for copyright terms of POSTGRESQL
[PostgreSQL 6.5.3 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc 2.95.2]
Well, first off, there is a MUCH newer version of Postgres available. It up to v7.03.
The file you need should be in /usr/local/pgsql/include or thereabouts. You should have an environment variable POSTGRES_INCLUDE pointing there.
I'm showing my ignorance here . . . I visited www.postgresql.org. What is an RPM? What is the procedure after I have downloaded the RPM?
Thanks, Jason
