Been reading Slashdot, I see... ;)

This is what allowed Gnome to run on Windows.  Indeed, very interesting.
Even more interesting were the comments that Mr. Korn (of the korn
shell) had to say about working with Windows for the last few years to
get this to work.  Not very positive stuff.
