I've noticed SuSE has added a few nonstandard kernel tweaks to the 
2.2.series kernels.  Examples that I can think are ReiserFS, Aladdin V
IDE chipset and the Promise UDMA chipset.  I believe the Aladdin V and
Promise chipset features will be standard with 2.4.
