You should be able to get multiple files by connecting via
FTP and then typing something like 'mget *.deb' or 'mget *.rpm'
(I use that a lot grabbing files for SuSE...). If you're using
standard FTP you want to use something like 'ftp -i ftp.suse.com'
(the -i turns off interactive prompting so you don't have to
say "yes" to each file when you're downloading or uploading a 
lot of files.)
