Okay hardware gurus...
My friend installed RHAT 6.2 on his PC. During boot-up, he gets the
following messages:
UMB upper limit segment addres: F5F3
Invalid system configuration data - run configuration utility
Mouse initialized
When he installed RHAT, he hit F1 to continue and was able (AFAIK) to
install. However, when he actually boots up the RHAT system, the computer
stops and never gets to LILO.
I suggested flashing the BIOS (Phoenix BIOS, version 4.04), but I have
limited experience in the BIOS arena. He has not yet tried flashing because
I told him I would ask my 'Linux guru' friends!
Suggestions are appreciated.
Gracias
Jeff
