2 possible things to look at:

In your http.conf file, check what the document is that it goes for when 
you just specify a directory.  Default on this is index.html.  WHatever it 
is, make sure that exists.

If your machine is not capable of being looked up on DNS, fix the server 
name to be your IP address in the same config file.  When you specify a 
directory,  it uses a redirect to get to the file.  It uses its server 
name, either from DNS or from the config file to do that redirect.  You may 
have to specify your 192.168.. number in that file.
