In Netscape, under Preferences > Navigator > Application > New you'll
have to create an application to bring it up.

This is what I have for XMMS:

Description: audio/mp3
MIMEType: mp3
Suffices: mp3

Clicking on Application I have:

Application: xmms %s

This starts xmms when an mp3 is clicked on.

HTH.

We used something like 'Modular syslogd' with a MySQL module
for logging, but found some problems with scale and
redundancy (ie- if the sql host is unreachable, it will just
cause the logging to hang and not timeout or queue)- so we
stopped using it.
