I haven't installed it yet on my linux box. (am going to as soon as I
upgrade to SuSE 7.2) But use DB2 all the time at work on an AS/400. It is
an SQL compliant database. So you should be able to access any DB2
databases via SQL. on the AS/400 the command to get into SQL is STRSQL . I
believe the CD IBM sent me with the Linux version of DB2 has the manuals in
PDF format I look for them and see how big they are. If they are small I
could email them to you if you want.
