What happens if you rename/remove your Netscape profile data (think it's 
stored as a .netscapeSomthhing in our home dir)?

Have you tried grabbing the latest updates for Communicator from SuSE?

IMHO I use Mozilla, it's much better and will be in 1.0 release 
(finally) sometime this month.
