Hi Randy.

I think it is the AddDescription directive inside the <Directory> tag of
your httpd.conf

<Directory /www/randysfiles>
  AddDescription "This is the newest one" randy.gif
</Directory>

This might apply to IndexOptions=FancyIndexing, but I am not sure on that
one.

Chris

Subject: [CLUE-Tech] Apache Directory Index

When Apache shows the index of a directory it presents four
columns: Name, Last modified, Size, and Description.

What controls what appears in the Description column?

Is it the mime-type settings in httpd.conf?

If I have a directory where I place files for download, and I
allow clients to see the index of files, how can I configure
apache so that meaningfull descriptions are presented?
