I have gotten DMA working with my two hard drives using hdparm. I was
wondering if there is a way that I can pass information to the kernel that
allows me to do this at boot from LILO and grub so that I don't have to
have a couple of lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.local like:
/sbin/hdparm -d1 -c1 -k1 /dev/hda
/sbin/hdparm -d1 -c1 -k1 /dev/hdb
Any suggestions of places to look for documentation on how I could pass
that to the kernel at boot?
