[CLUE-Tech] Upgrading remotely

Hello everyone,

I've got a box with an old version of Red Hat [nods apologetically and
tips hat to those running other distributions].  I don't have a monitor
hooked up to this box, and I don't relish playing musical monitors to
upgrade the box.  In the past, all I've done to upgrade is reboot
with the Red Hat CD in the drive, stare at the monitor output, grunt
and push at the keyboard a few times.

Can anyone provide some tips on upgrading a Red Hat
distribution remotely through a different Linux box?
