[CLUE-Tech] qwest, msn & dsl am I doomed?

Well, if you're pulling a 700MB iso, do the math. Itsa lotta bits.

5600000000bits/200000bps/60sec/60min=7.7hours, not doomed, download while
you sleep. Joe gets it a bit faster, which is the difference between cable
and residential DSL. For $10 more a month to Qwest (depending on state) you
can get 512000bps performance (assuming the same lossiness as your 256k is
seeing) and lower it to dinner and a movie (your wife will like this and
quit harping about your being on the computer all the time). You seem to be
getting what you're paying for. It's not 256K.
